Eishutte am Kainzenbad in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

On the last day before the corona-related closure, I didn't want to miss testing the ice hut. The selection wasn't big anymore, but a roast venison was just right for me. And it was delicious. When I'm up again, I'm happy to be back to warm up with a delicious meal by the fireplace.

We were blown away by the hospitality of the couple who run the restaurant. Even though my partner has a long list of allergies they were able to provide helpful tailored advice with a dish to satisfy us both wonderfully. We were made to feel very welcome and came away having improved our day so much after getting stopped by the police for speeding. Thank you so much!

This restaurant was recommended to us and we absolutely love it. Such a friendly couple. we had very interesting conversations. The food was not only delicious, it was nicely decorated. A feast for the eyes! Despite my long list of allergies, I struck gold and the owners were extremely helpful with advice. English was also spoken without any problems, as my partner cannot speak German.

That is a good tip, ice stock sport, even in summer, good middle-class food, simply gritty, very recommendable, Kainzenbad (swimming pool) right next door

The house looked a bit like a chip shop online. How surprised we were! Simple, rustic exterior, but really delicious food, everything handmade. Plus super-nice service, just great. And absolutely clean. We would love to come back here.

Nice hidden gem, good food and drink with a local atmosphere.

We know the ice rink for several years and are there during our vacation every now and then to a delicious food, but what we found this time is gastronomy to get used to, the simplest dishes, swimming in the fat, old warmed up dried noodles and salad side dishes doused with vinegar Weisswurst to get used to. For us it was the last visit. Too bad and thanks for the very good kitchen of the previous owners.
